Sofie Lenaerts 6-aug-2017: Heerlijk rustig gelegen in een adembenemend landschap. De villa is ruim en ingericht met alle nodige comfort. Het zwembad biedt zicht op de Italiaanse heuvels. Kortom zalig genieten!

Gill and family 06-jun-2015: We visited Villa Sasso at the end of August. The house was great – so comfortable for all of us – the kitchen especially so well kitted out – and pizza oven a huge hit with the boys. And the views across the valley as we relaxed on the terrace and round the pool, sipping the local Verdicchio – wonderful! G & S were also so helpful and full of info on what to do and where to go. We loved that porcupine who bustled down the lane at dusk and the fruits in the orchard for the children to pick. Altogether a lovely stay, our best yet! Many thanks – we’ll be back! Gill and family

Ivor W. Buckinghamshire, UK 14-aug-2015: We went a group of good friends all with young children. There were a total of 4 families consisting of 8 adults and 9 children with the ages from under 1 to 7. All of the information provided by the owner prior to making the booking was great - answered all the questions we had and went out of their way to sort out any extras or requests we had such as extra high chairs, travel cots and providing some catering on site. So with this information and the photos and details of the property we went ahead and booked. We had an excellent week and everyone loved it. The Villa was in an idyllic rural setting with views over the valley and surrounded by countryside with a great pool and very good size and quality accommodation. Although in a rural setting, it was still only 30 minutes or so from Ancoda airport, and nearby shops for supplies or restaurants were only 10 minutes or so by car, and the nearest beach was about 45 minutes away. The accommodation itself suited us very well. The villa was in really good condition and clean. It had lots of nice old character features such as big oak beams in the bedrooms but with modern decoration and with good quality fittings and facilities throughout. The large kitchen area was particularly good for cooking, eating and entertaining and opening out to the great outside space on either side for doing the same. The pool was a bit hit with the children. It was a good size and had steps down into the shallow end at one end of the pool which was particularly useful for the youngest kids. It also was a great place to sunbathe and take in the views... The other big hit was the outdoor traditional pizza oven. We brought pizza dough from a local pizzeria and then all the children made pizzas and the adults tried not to burn them too much! The owner and local lady who looks after the property also arranged for some local cooks to cook a couple of meals in the villa whilst we were there. I would really recommend this - really nice to have a locally prepared meal in the villa for the adults once the children were all soundly asleep! We went for a 'regional supper' which was a great mix of traditional food and another night we went for a mix of pasta dishes. Both were very good So all in all, I’d highly recommend Villa Sasso. We found the environment, the accommodation and the area all great, and would very much consider coming back again

Sander D. 3-may-2014: Perfect House We were with 3 families (6 parents and 8 children between 2 and 8 years) and we had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful house in a very nice, quit area. If you are looking for that, this is the spot. The house is very well equipped and clean as well. It is large enough for a group of 14 persons, the owner and the people in Italy are very friendly as well. Beautiful pool as well.

Chris 1-aug-2014: We stayed at Villa Sasso for 10 glorious days from May 21st to May 31st, 2011. This rustic location is perfect for a peaceful getaway from reality to spend quality time with friends and family! You have to see the views in person to understand how understated all the pictures are....the weather was fabulous and we enjoyed most of our meals outside on the terrace. Although you definitely need a car, there are many local attractions to enjoy. Would highly recommend Villa Sasso to friends and families!

Claire W. 8-aug-2014: Wonderful house with stunning views We were a party of 3 families, 13 in total, staying for a week in August. The villa is superb, very spacious, quite remote and with no close neighbours. It was clean and well maintained. The weather was lovely and we really appreciated the choice of places to sit and eat during the day, in the sun, in the shade and by the pool. We all enjoyed making pizzas and cooking various meals in the pizza oven. The children spent most of the time in the pool, but the older ones also appreciated the choice of DVDs and games, while the younger ones had fun in the whirlpool bath. It was hot at night but there were fans in each of the rooms. Close by there are many places to visit including stunning caves in Frassasi which should not be missed. We would really recommend this property and hope to return again ourselves in the future.

Ann Bayart 9-aug-2019: Villa Sasso is een zeer mooi en authentiek huis waar je kan genieten van een adembenemend uitzicht, zalig groot zwembad, echte pizza-bak-oven en een erg rustige omgeving. Het was genieten en zeer ontspannend, zelfs met een grote groep van 18 mensen.

Fam Lenaerts 1-aug-2017: Wij waren met 15....een grote familie, 8 volwassenen en 7 kinderen tussen 6 en 18 jaar. We hebben genoten van het grote praktische huis, het mooie zwembad, het mooiste vergezicht over de bergen, de gezellige, schaduwrijke aperitiefhoek, de pizza-oven, de keuken met heel veel gerief, de lange tafel onder de bomen.......het was heel fijn en gezellig. Ook de restaurantjes in de kleine naburige stadjes zijn een aanrader......volg de handleiding.....! Een aanrader......!!!

Inge Vancluysen Aug 13, 2018: Heerlijke vakantie gehad in Villa Sasso! Met een gezelschap van 6 volwassenen en 6 kinderen was deze villa perfect. Zeer mooie en rustige ligging met prachtig uitzicht. De weg ernaartoe is al een hele beleving. De woning is voldoende groot, alles is aanwezig en werd netjes onderhouden. Leuk dat de woning gepoetst werd tijdens ons verblijf en linnen werd ververst. Ook de poolboy komt regelmatig checken of alles ok is. De pizzaoven is een aanrader om uit te proberen. Elke avond komt er een tamme vos langs om wat eten te zoeken. De kleine kruipdiertjes moet je er wel bijnemen. Zeker iets voorzien tegen de tijgermuggen! Onze kinderen hebben zich geen moment verveeld en er is voldoende in de buurt om te bezoeken. Ook de lokale restaurants op de lijst waren de moeite! Wij hebben ervan genoten!

Luc Vannitsen Oct 17, 2018: Rust vanaf het moment je de deur daar opent. Heerlijk ontwaken met zelf gebakken brood, de heerlijke pizza’s die je kan maken in de authentieke pizza oven, .... Kortom zeker eens doen. Geniet met de grote ‘G’ !!!
